Job Description
Aintree Group is on the lookout for an Experienced Bookkeeper to join our dynamic and growing team. This is a key role in our design and construction business, ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain our Xero accounting system with accuracy and efficiency
- Collate, code, and arrange timely payments to suppliers and subcontractors
- Manage GST and liaise with external accountants for tax payments
- Back-cost construction projects and ensure accurate client billing
- Monitor project work-in-progress and assist with forecasting
- Support continuous improvement of financial and operational systems
- Ensure rent payments and outgoings are processed and paid promptly
- Assist with construction contract administration and payment claims
- Attend client site meetings to document and follow up on financial and admin-related requests
- Gather and organise warranty agreements from subcontractors post-completion
- Assist in preparing CCC (Code Compliance Certificate) and compliance documentation
- Maintain a solid understanding of construction contracts and related processes
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounts, or financial administration
- Construction costing knowledge is an advantage
- Proficient with Xero and Excel
- Strong grasp of financial processes and ability to generate financial reports
- Excellent time management, communication, and multitasking skills
- Analytical and process-oriented mindset
- A relevant qualification in accounting or finance is desirable, but not necessary
