The Opportunity

Due to strong business growth, Drillfast is seeking a Purchasing Manager to take ownership of our fast-moving procurement function and keep our supply chain running at peak performance.

As Purchasing Manager, you'll work closely with our Sales, Inventory, Warehouse, and Customer Service teams to ensure our supply chain remains reliable, responsive, and cost-effective. You'll manage end-to-end procurement—both local and international—while maintaining ERP accuracy and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Approve purchase orders and oversee supplier relationships.
• Maintain product codes, pricing, and item data in NetSuite.
• Support New Product Development (NPD) process.
• Monitor stock levels and reduce shortages in collaboration with Inventory Controller.
• Resolve supply or delivery issues—often within tight timeframes.
• Track and minimise backorders.
• Provide clear communication to internal stakeholders on ETAs and challenges.
• Monitor supplier performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead purchasing meetings, update key metrics, and log improvements.
• Ensure compliance, data accuracy, and robust reporting.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years' experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain.
• ERP experience (NetSuite preferred, but not essential).
• Strong attention to detail with an ownership mindset.
• Excellent communicator, confident with vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Calm under pressure, able to juggle multiple priorities.
• Skilled with data, reporting, and process improvement.
• Team player, with a can-do adaptable attitude.
