About the Opportunity
C-Dax is on the lookout for a driven and strategic Agri Account Manager to lead the next chapter of growth for one of New Zealand's most trusted rural brands.
This role reports directly to the COO and is based in Palmerston North. It involves regular national travel (3–4 days per week), including some overnight stays, as you connect with dealers, distributors, and rural customers across the country.
This role will also involve travelling to Palmerston North; where the head-office is based.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement national sales strategies to grow market share and revenue.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive sales across dealer and distributor networks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with rural retailers, distributors, and end users.
- Provide support, training, and product knowledge to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Monitor sales performance, prepare reports, and provide accurate forecasts to the leadership team.
- Use data to inform decisions and identify areas for improvement.
What you need to succeed?
- Proven experience in sales or account management, specifically with the agricultural industry.
- B2B sales experience, ideally with exposure in selling to traders, retailers and large distributors.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A solution-focused, proactive and can-do attitude.
- Comfortable with technical information and problem-solving.
- Valid NZ driver's licence, with willingness to travel nationally.
