Job Description
We are proactively seeking a Business Development Manager who knows how to hunt, ask the right questions, uncover client pain points, and win work in a competitive space. This is not a role for an order taker. We want someone who stives for closing deals and isn't afraid to chase big results.

While the head office is based in Moss Vale, we're open to candidates located across Greater Sydney, with the expectation you'll work from the office once a week.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across commercial construction, infrastructure, and development sectors
- Owning the full sales process from lead to tender to signed contract
- Meeting with builders, developers, architects, engineers, and decision-makers
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure project deliverables align with client needs
- Representing Dunsteel at site visits, meetings, and industry events
- Navigating price-driven conversations by delivering value-based proposals and setting Dunsteel apart in a crowded market
What We're Looking For:
- Proven sales success (steel fabrication, construction, or related industries)
- 3 - 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, ideally with complex tender processes
- Strong negotiation skills and a track record of closing significant deals
- Commercially sharp, target-driven, and confident dealing with decision-makers
- A proactive, humble, and professional approach with the ability to work independently
- Someone who thrives on accountability and follows through on what they say they'll do
