The Role
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a talented Structural Engineer to lead and coordinate the structural design phase of projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring designs are optimised, buildable, and compliant, working closely with internal and external teams from concept through to certification. This position is based in Swan Hill, VIC, and relocation will be required.

The Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering from concept to certified design
• Undertake structural analysis using SpaceGass to optimise design efficiency
• Perform load calculations and design for wind, seismic, and other environmental factors
• Liaise with certifying engineers to ensure compliance with Australian Standards
• Review and guide Tekla 3D modelling for accuracy, buildability, and cost efficiency
• Assess project feasibility and propose optimal structural systems
• Provide technical support to sales, estimating, and project management teams

What We Are Looking For

• Degree-qualified Structural Engineer with 3+ years' experience
• Proficiency in SpaceGass, Trimble Connect, Tekla, and MS Excel
• Strong knowledge of Australian building codes and structural steel standards
• Experience with large-span or modular steel structures highly regarded
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills
