The Role: If you're passionate about building relationships and driving business growth, this role is for you. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be a key player in a high-performing team, responsible for expanding the client portfolio and maintaining existing clients. You will identify new opportunities in our core market, manage existing accounts, provide product solutions and advice, deliver demonstrations, and offer training.
Ideal Location: While we prefer candidates based in Waikato, we are open to considering other locations for the right candidate. With regular travel within the Waikato area, South Auckland, Bay of Plenty and to the head office, based in Feilding, Manawatū District.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and nurture successful client relationships.
- Be a passionate and engaging sales professional with strong customer service skills.
- Manage a portfolio of key accounts and act as the main contact for customers.
- Understand client needs and aspirations.
- Travel to rural areas for client visits.
- Provide technical advice and training (training will be provided).
- Set and track personal targets and KPIs.
- Perform general administrative tasks including order entry and CRM updates.
- Generate new business through your customer network.
What We're Looking For:
- Solid experience in sales or account management.
- Knowledge of the agricultural industry, especially machinery, is a plus.
- Ability to work autonomously with strong organizational and self-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- A solution-oriented approach and natural talent for relationship building.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Comfort with technical information and problem-solving.
- Valid NZ Driver's Licence and willingness to travel for client meetings.
- A confident, positive, can-do attitude.
